European Scientific InstrumentFounded in 1971, formerly known as Eurotherm Electronic Control Instrument Co., Ltd., it is a subsidiary of Eurotherm Ltd., a British listed company, aiming to more effectively distribute the industrial control instruments of its parent company in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, and later expanded its business coverage to Chinese Mainland in 1973.
In the early 1980s, the company began to distribute high-tech instruments manufactured in the United States, Europe, and Japan domestically. In 1988, the company was reorganized and split into two institutions, Continental Electronic Control Instruments (International) Co., Ltd. and Continental Electronic Control Instruments (Far East) Co., Ltd., in order to provide better services to its growing customers.
In 1994, the management of the company purchased all the equity of Eurofins Electronic Control Instrument (Far East) Co., Ltd. and renamed it Eurofins Scientific Instrument (Far East) Co., Ltd., which has been in use ever since.

Future plans and trends
China's 12th Five Year Plan places great emphasis on environmental improvement and protection. In addition, China has faced a prominent water shortage problem in recent years. Therefore, we realize that environmental instruments and pollution control equipment, especially in sewage treatment and drinking water treatment facilities, have strong market potential.
In order to fully prepare ourselves to meet the expected demand, we have proposed two key areas as future development plans:
One To develop our company's proprietary environmental protection instruments;
II To explore the feasibility of establishing a franchise operated retail network for scientific instruments in strategic cities in China.
